Air/water heat-exchangers
The FIRA radiators for endothermic motors are designed according to customer needs and are used on tractors, self-propelled cranes, forklift trucks, harvesting equipment and other. The finning can be made of copper with inserted or Mc Kord type high-efficiency profile. Both solutions are available in a wide range of configurations and dimensions, thus permitting optimal choice according to operating conditions (low clogging or high efficiency). It is also possible to include a plate exchanger in the tank for hydraulic oil cooling. Accessories include steel or ABS ducting, expansion tanks, fans and anti-vibration mounts.
Combined heat exchangers for mobile machines
This configuration offers an integrated solution for cooling fluids in complex machines: combustion engine liquid, hydraulic oil, turbocompressor air. It is also possible to include the hydraulic fan, the expansion tank, the grilles and other specific accessories in the same element. These products are the result of accurate sizing performed by a team of experts on the basis of the data provided by the customer for specific applications and requirements. The applications comprise all mobile machines for earth movement, building and road construction. Another important application sector is waste shredding machines and eco-machines in general.
Air/Oil standard heat exchangers
The range of air/oil heat exchangers has proved to be extremely reliable for a number of different hydraulic oil cooling requirements using the air generated by electric fans, hydraulic fans or, in the industrial sector, by single-phase and three-phase electric fans. The availability of models has now been further extended in order to satisfy all requirements.

Water/oil standard heat-exchangers
FIR series water-oil heat exchanger units are used to cool hydraulic circuits in a large number of industrial systems. The FIR range is characterised by high quality materials and superior workmanship, guaranteeing a product that is both reliable and extremely efficient and allowing 2 o 4 passages without wasting so much as a drop of water. At present the range includes 4 different sizes, with a wide selection of lengths. FIRA will also be pleased to collaborate with customers on solutions to particular requirements not covered by the standard range of products.
Stand-alone compact cooling unit
The URCA stand-alone unit has been designed to meet the need for oil cooling in fixed systems where, due to dependability and costs, it is not possible to apply a simple heat exchanger. This unit combines the heat exchange characteristics, typical of an exchanger, with the possibility of using a stand-alone tank, an oil circulation pump and remote and/or PLC controlled heat regulation. This type of design is determined by application requirements.
Oil/air heat exchangers for compressors
The technical development and increasing use of screw compressors in many different areas has prompted FIRA to bring out a range of products dedicated to this particular market. Its strength lies in its ability to produce, through accurate design, specific solutions to meet customer requirements. The combined air/air and air/oil exchanger is made entirely of aluminium and can be equipped with electric fans and ducting.
